Heyo! I’m Eli Snyder, a travel content creator from Kansas City in pursuit of a lifelong goal of visiting every country in the world! My greatest passion is exploring our world, and after saving up enough money to quit my corporate job, I’m now living my dream of traveling full-time! While my first couple years on the road were defined by solo travel, now I get to do it with others: through my venture Snyd Expeditions, I lead curated expeditions to some of the world’s most elusive destinations, creating community and friendships to last a lifetime 🙂

I’m a full-time travel content creator from Kansas City in pursuit of a lifelong goal of visiting every country in the world; I share all my adventures on Tiktok, Instagram, and Youtube under my handle @snydexplores and have been fortunate to amass an audience of over 500k followers!

My specific focus within travel is venturing to the uncelebrated, underrated, untouristy destinations. I’ve been all over, from New Zealand to Bolivia to Afghanistan to Côte d’Ivoire… the list goes on and on! No matter where I am, I’m documenting my experiences and sharing them with my audience, and now hopefully you too. Welcome, I’m glad you’re here!

I signed up for the Guatemala trip as a fun and convenient way to check off my number one travel bucket list item (hiking Volcan de Fuego). Due to his vast experience traveling the globe, I was confident in Eli’s ability to create an enjoyable and safe itinerary that would allow ample time to experience the history, culture, and natural beauty of Guatemala. I felt as though he did a great job in this regard. The perfect mix between adventure and relaxation. However, as cliche as it may sound, I believe that the one thing more important than the destination is the people you get to experience it with. In this regard, Eli did an incredible job of selecting a group of like-minded and enthusiastic young people with an unmatched passion for travel. As awkward as interacting with complete strangers might be at first, it seemed as though everyone hit it off from the get-go. I flew to Guatemala solo, but left with ten lifelong friends.

As someone who’s traveled with friends, family, school, sports teams, etc. I’ve experienced all sorts of different ways of travel and snydexplores is one of, if not the best, way to do it. Eli made sure to immerse us equally in adventure and culture while also giving us down time to hang with each other and explore areas on our own. This trip was life changing for me. It was such a surreal experience to go on a vacation that was so well planned that I had the opportunity to truly go with the flow and enjoy myself.
